2nd announcement for the Nordic Baltic Fusarium Seminar, 23-25 November 2010
This seminar is mainly directed towards scientists from the Nordic and Baltic countries. In addition, Ruth Dill-Macky (University of Minnesota, USA) and Simon Edwards (Harper Adams University College, Newport, UK) will be present. The objective of this seminar is to strengthen the contact between scientists from Nordic and Baltic countries to facilitate the exchange of information gathered within different research-projects
related to Fusarium and mycotoxins.
The preliminary programme consists of oral presentations focusing on ongoing research on Fusarium and mycotoxins within the Nordic and Baltic countries. The meeting will cover different aspects ranging from surveillance and control of Fusarium and mycotoxins in cereals to fungal biology and host-plant resistance.
We encourage scientists, students, plant breeders, and people working with food safety issues to attend this meeting.
